
As a senior associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Finance Practices, Zach Dewey focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real property, commercial leasing, and real estate investment and financing.
In addition, he has experience with tax credit financings and development, drafting and reviewing various contracts and agreements, and entity formations and dissolutions. Zach also assists clients in simplifying operational and finance inquiries in order to streamline and expedite the real estate financing process with financial institutions and other lenders, without impeding negotiations.
Zach’s experience in his family’s dry-cleaning business laid the foundation for his insight into the needs of clients of all sizes, which enables him to provide catered risk-adjusted and solutions-oriented advice. He’s eager to help his clients achieve their goals in commercial leasing across retail, industrial, and office structures. His previous experience includes being a member of a deal team transacting the financing and purchase of 14 grocery-anchored shopping centers valued at $425 million, and a role as in-house counsel to one of the 25 largest US banks by asset size, working on a portfolio of over 1,500,000 mortgage loans, including assisting with onboarding 250,000 loans with an unpaid principal balance of more than $52 billion.
