Alexia is an attorney in the firm’s Corporate & Business Practice. Alexia represents clients on a wide range of transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, joint ventures and other strategic investments, both in the public and private sectors. Alexia also regularly advises clients on general corporate, governance and commercial matters.
Originally from Belgium, Alexia has spent a significant portion of her career working abroad, specifically in Brussels and Luxembourg. She has extensive experience advising European and other foreign based companies in connection with their existing U.S. activities or expansion to the U.S.
Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Alexia was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, working out of both its offices in New York City and Brussels. During her time at New York University School of Law, Alexia was also a part-time research assistant focusing her research on commercial law and international contracts.
Alexia is fluent in French and proficient in Dutch.
