Timothy is a broad-based commercial lawyer with a particular focus on cross-border securities and financing transactions. Timothy was born and raised in Toronto and graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, but has spent his entire legal career practicing New York law for US firms. Thus he brings a collaborative and multijurisdictional perspective to solve legal problems for his clients.
Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Timothy was an associate at Latham & Watkins in New York City, where he represented issuers and underwriters in both public and private capital markets transactions. He has also acquired substantial experience in advising public companies and Canadian foreign private issuers on their reporting obligations under U.S. securities laws.
Timothy exclusively practices U.S. law and is admitted to practice in New York. Prior to law school, Timothy earned a master’s degree in economics from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
