Gabriella is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, where she focuses on assisting the preparation and prosecution of utility and design patent applications. Her areas of focus include medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, consumer products and appliances, and manufacturing processes.
Prior to Law School, Gabriella earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University at Buffalo. While attending school, Gabriella worked with a local startup company specializing in the creation of medical equipment. She also performed research in a nanotechnology wet laboratory, focusing on cancer theranostics and cancer biomarkers.
While in law school, Gabriella clerked at a boutique intellectual property law firm and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York. Gabriella was a Property Law Teaching Fellow, served as the vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Society, and was a member of the Buffalo Law Review and the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review.
