Cheyenne N. Freely

Associate

Cheyenne is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice, where she assists firm clients with business disputes in various areas of substantive law. She has experience in an array of civil litigation matters, including state and federal court litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. Her experience and current work centers on representing companies and corporations and guiding them through complex legal issues, such as resolving high-stakes contract disputes, ensuring environmental compliance, and defending product liability lawsuits. She also has significant experience defending municipalities against challenges arising under state and federal law.

Cheyenne is a strategic problem solver who understands that no client or case is the same. She works with clients to navigate the best path toward a favorable outcome. In doing so, Cheyenne works to anticipate potential changes and problems in cases before they arise. In order to do this, she studies and researches a client’s business to become proficient on the inner-workings of the organization, which ultimately enables her to envision the larger picture of a case.

During law school, Cheyenne worked as a student attorney in the Georgetown University Law Center’s Appellate Advocacy Clinic. In that role, she served as amicus counsel for a Title VII case in the Eleventh Circuit. Cheyenne also worked as a legislative intern for Congressman Brian Higgins.

Cheyenne is licensed to practice law in New York, the District of Columbia, and U.S. District Court for the Western and Southern Districts of New York.
