Hodgson Russ Names Gary Schober New York City Office Managing Partner
Hodgson Russ announces Gary Schober will assume the role of managing partner for the law firm’s New York City office, located at 1540 Broadway, effective October 1.
Gary served as the firm’s president and CEO from July 2005 through January 2012. Under his leadership, the firm grew and deftly navigated the economic downturn. As president, Gary was responsible for spearheading the firm's strategic vision and initiatives for growth and business development as well as guiding the firm's day-to-day operations. Gary currently leads the firm's Emerging Companies & Venture Capital and Privacy, Data Security & Cyber Liability Practices and will continue to do so.
Gary follows Cathy Fleming as managing partner of the New York office. Cathy assumed the role of office managing partner in 2012. She will continue in her role as head of the firm's Tax Investigations & Defense Practice and will continue practicing in the areas of complex civil litigation and white-collar criminal cases.
