Sujata Yalamanchili to Receive Multicultural Leadership Award
Sujata Yalamanchili, the leader of Hodgson Russ's Real Estate, Finance & Bankruptcy Practice Area and its Real Estate & Finance Practice Group, has been selected to receive a Multicultural Leadership Award by the Tri-State Diversity Council, a member organization of the National Diversity Council. She will receive the award during the Multicultural Power 100 reception at the Tri-State Diversity and Leadership Conference, May 19, at the Flatotel Hotel in New York City.
Ms. Yalamanchili will be recognized for making a difference through her professional achievements and exemplifying the ability to excel in her field. The Multicultural Leadership Award honors individuals of color who have demonstrated leadership excellence in the public and/or private sectors, sustained a record of accomplishments and contributions to their field of work throughout scope of their careers, demonstrated leadership characteristics in the community, retained a commendable reputation with colleagues and superiors, and exhibited and demonstrated a commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional excellence.
Prior to her current leadership roles at Hodgson Russ, Ms. Yalamanchili served as a member of the firm's board of directors and was chair of its Committee for Attorney Recruitment, Development, and Diversity. Her community involvement currently includes serving as a member of the boards of directors of Summit Educational Resources and the Western New York Women's Fund, a trustee of the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site Foundation, and a member of the board of directors of the University at Buffalo School of Management Alumni Association, where she previously served as president.
