Pierre Cournot Joins Hodgson Russ

Hodgson Russ LLP is pleased to announce that Pierre Cournot has joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the firm's New York office.

Mr. Cournot is a French-born and U.S.-trained business lawyer. He advises foreign corporations and high-net-worth individuals at every stage of their presence in the United States. Mr. Cournot's services include agency and distribution agreements, licenses of intellectual property, formation and governance of legal entities, mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters, and alternative dispute resolution. He is general counsel to the French Consulate General in New York and is consulted regularly by several French ministries and administrative agencies regarding legal problems in the United States.

Additionally, Mr. Cournot is a foreign trade advisor to the French Republic — one of approximately 100 French business leaders appointed by the French Government in the Northeast to provide advice on specific matters. He is also on the Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association and a Knight in the French National Order of Merit.
