Pierre Cournot and Peter C. Godfrey Elected to Board of Directors

Hodgson Russ announces Pierre Cournot and Peter C. Godfrey have been elected to the law firm’s board of directors. Their appointments are immediately effective.

Pierre Cournot, co-leader of the firm’s France Practice Group and a partner in its Corporate & Securities, International/Cross-Border, and Information Technology & Internet Law Practice Groups, is also the general counsel (avocat-conseil) of the French Consulate General in New York. Peter C. Godfrey is a partner in the firm’s Employment Litigation and Labor & Employment Practice Groups and leader of the firm’s Worker Classification & Employment Tax Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Committee for Attorney Recruitment, Development, and Diversity and is the firm’s diversity partner. Mr. Cournot and Mr. Godfrey are both members of the firm’s Business Development Committee.

Other members of Hodgson Russ’s board of directors are Gary M. Schober (president and CEO), Paul R. Comeau (firm chair), Todd M. Joseph (Federal & International Tax Practice Group), Kevin M. Kearney (Business Litigation Practice Group), and Rick Kennedy (Environment & Energy Practice Group leader).

Mr. Cournot and Mr. Godfrey are succeeding John Catterson and Sujata Yalamanchili on the firm’s board.
