Adam W. Perry Appointed Chair of City of Buffalo Citizens Planning Council
Adam W. Perry, a partner in the Hodgson Russ Business Litigation Practice Group, was recently appointed chair of the Citizens Planning Council of the City of Buffalo by Mayor Byron W. Brown. Mr. Perry replaces Arnold B. Gardner of Kavinoky Cook in the position as chair.
The Citizens Planning Council, which is provided for by the Charter of the City of Buffalo, is the body that determines the capital expenditures for the entire city each year. The city's capital improvement budget for 2010 is $27.6 million (compared to Erie County's 2009 capital improvement borrowing of $27.7 million). In addition to recommending capital expenditures, the council is also responsible for creating a four-year plan for the city’s capital budget.
