New Jersey Aims to Change How Commuters Are Taxed

New Jersey is set to begin a standoff with neighboring New York over income taxes paid by telecommuting residents. New York and Pennsylvania tax out-of-state workers even if the workers never cross their borders, and Open Weaver Banks noted that Connecticut does something similar. The proposal would provide some tax relief to New Jersey residents who face the same burden from other states.​
