Nathaniel W. Lucek Joins Hodgson Russ

Hodgson Russ announces Nathaniel W. Lucek has joined the law firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group as an associate. He is resident in the firm’s Buffalo office.

Mr. Lucek focuses his practice on patent law, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. His areas of experience include ion implantation systems; robotic and conveyor systems; plasma generation; magnetic and electrostatic lenses; heating and cooling mechanisms; vacuum systems; dosimetry and process control; silicon sheet production; and manufacturing processes for semiconductors, LEDs, and solar cells.

Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Mr. Lucek spent more than five years as in-house intellectual property counsel at Applied Materials, Inc., a semiconductor equipment manufacturer in Massachusetts. While there, his responsibilities included patent portfolio management, reexamination, due diligence matters, and opinion work.
