Melanie J. Beardsley and Nathan W. G. Berti: New Buffalo Office Associates

Hodgson Russ announces Melanie J. Beardsley and Nathan W. G. Berti have joined the law firm as associates in the Buffalo office. Ms. Beardsley is in the Labor & Employment Practice Group, and Mr. Berti is in the Estates & Trusts Practice Group.

Ms. Beardsley represents private and public sector employers before state and federal agencies, including the New York State Department of Labor, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Public Employment Relations Board, and defends private and public sector employers against employment discrimination, labor, wage and hour, and other state and federal claims. Ms. Beardsley received a B.A. cum laude from Dickinson College and a J.D. from University at Buffalo Law School, State University of New York.

Mr. Berti concentrates his practice in estates and trusts law. He regularly counsels clients on estate planning, business succession, asset protection, estate administration, and trust administration matters. After receiving a B.S.B.A. magna cum laude from Bucknell University, Mr. Berti earned a J.D. cum laude from University at Buffalo Law School, State University of New York.
