Hodgson Russ Partner Michael B. Risman to Join Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo Board of Directors

Michael B. Risman, a partner in Hodgson Russ's Business Litigation and Municipal Law Practice Groups, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo is a non-profit umbrella organization that serves both the local and global Jewish communities. Its many organizations include youth and adult education programs, missions to U.S. cities and Israel, social and family services, and charity work.

Mr. Risman's practice is focused on litigation and municipal law, and prior to joining Hodgson Russ he served as chief counsel for the City of Buffalo and the Buffalo Board of Education. His involvement with the community extends to various other organizations; he was formerly a board member and is currently legal counsel for the North Buffalo Community Development Corporation.
