Hodgson Russ Partner Pamela Davis Heilman Named to University at Buffalo Co

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Pamela Davis Heilman, a partner in Hodgson Russ’s Corporate & Securities, International/Cross-Border, and Nonprofit Law Practice Groups, has been named by Governor Eliot Spitzer to the University at Buffalo Council, the primary oversight and advisory board to the university and its president.
The University at Buffalo is the largest and most comprehensive campus in the State University of New York. Renowned as a premier research-intensive public university, it is home to over 28,000 students and offers more than 300 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs.
Ms. Heilman practices out of the firm's Buffalo and Toronto offices. She is one of the lead lawyers in Hodgson Russ’s cross-border Canada/U.S. practice and regularly counsels Canadian organizations and businesses considering expansion into the United States. She also has extensive experience counseling nonprofit organizations and closely held businesses. Ms. Heilman is a member of the board of directors and treasurer of the Canadian American Business Council.
