Hodgson Russ Partner Benjamin M. Zuffranieri, Jr. Appointed to Federal Court Mediation Panel
Benjamin M. Zuffranieri, Jr. a partner at Hodgson Russ LLP and Leader of its Business Litigation Practice, has been recently appointed to the federal court mediation panel for the Western District of the United States District Court. Mr. Zuffranieri possesses over 30 years of experience in litigation, including extensive work in alternative dispute resolution, where he has been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, National Roster of Neutrals, on the Commercial and Construction Panel. Additionally, he has participated as counsel and as a mediator in numerous arbitrations and mediations involving commercial, international, and construction disputes.
Mediators are required to be knowledgeable in civil litigation and possess sound judgment and critical mediation skills in order to be selected. By facilitating quicker and less expensive case resolutions, mediators play an important role in the resolution of cases flowing through the court system.
