Hodgson Russ LLP is pleased to announce Christofer C. Fattey has been named the Firm’s Real Estate, Finance & Bankruptcy Practice Area Leader. He will lead a team of more than 30 nationally recognized attorneys, taking over the practice area for Albany-based A. Joseph Scott III.

Chris is a versatile business lawyer with significant experience in commercial lending, project finance, real estate, and construction matters.

A University at Buffalo School of Law alumnus, Chris is continuously recognized for his work in banking and finance law, including by both Upstate New York Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. In addition, he was named a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America in 2018. Chris was a Buffalo Business First “40 Under 40” honoree and a member of the Leadership Buffalo Class of 2015.

Chris is also active in the Western New York community, serving as a board member for the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site. As a former minor-league professional ice hockey player, Chris proudly served as the president and as a member of the Board of Directors of Hasek’s Heroes.
