Hodgson Russ Attorney David Wilks, Appointed to the AILA National Committee

Hodgson Russ is pleased to announce that David J. Wilks has been appointed by President Jennifer Minear of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) to serve on the USCIS Case Assistance National Committee for the 2020-2021 term.

The USCIS Case Assistance Committee is a new national committee that consolidates AILA’s previous liaison efforts with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS) individual service centers into a single overall committee that will be responsible for monitoring adjudication trends and processes to assist AILA members in achieving positive outcomes for their clients. National committee members play an integral part in helping AILA achieve its mission to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.

David is a Partner in the Immigration Practice, where he guides companies, nonprofit organizations, universities and entrepreneurs in preparing and submitting non-immigrant and immigrant petitions.
