Ellen V. Weissman, Bethany Hills Trachtenberg Installed as NYSBA Section Chairs

Hodgson Russ partner Ellen V. Weissman is the new chair of the Health Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Weissman leads the firm's Health Law Practice Group and concentrates her practice on reimbursement, regulatory, and compliance matters for health care clients, including Medicare and Medicaid appeals, audits, and investigations.

Hodgson Russ senior associate Bethany Hills Trachtenberg is the new chair of the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Trachtenberg represents life science companies and health care providers in all aspects of their business, from domestic and foreign regulatory compliance to collaborative agreements for research, supply and distribution, structuring, and financing arrangements.

Ms. Weissman and Ms. Trachtenberg took office June 1.
