Five Hodgson Russ Attorneys Admitted to New York State Bar
Hodgson Russ is pleased to announce that attorneys Emily Dinsmore (Public Finance), Logan Geen (Health), Chelsea Latta (Immigration), Graham Leonard (Estates & Trusts), and Matthew Scherer (Corporate & Business Law) were admitted to the New York State Bar this spring and subsequently named associates of the firm. All five practice out of Hodgson Russ’s Buffalo office.
Emily Dinsmore represents counties, cities, towns, villages, school districts, fire districts, utility districts, and underwriters as bond counsel or special counsel on a range of general obligation, revenue bond, and lease/purchase and asset-backed financings. She is also heavily involved in the planning of school and municipal projects.
Logan Geen represents health care providers in a variety of regulatory and corporate matters, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, Stark and anti-kickback compliance, managed care contracting, HIPAA concerns, and health law transactions.
Chelsea Latta represents multinational corporations in the preparation of temporary work permit petitions in the L-1, H-1B, TN and O-1 categories. She also assists in the preparation of employment-based permanent residence cases for outstanding researchers and multinational managers and executives.
Graham Leonard represents clients in estate and trust matters, including estate administration, tax advice, planning for complex estates, and cross-border matters, including planning for Canadian residents with U.S. property and beneficiaries. Prior to attending law school, Graham served as an AmeriCorps VISTA.
Matthew Scherer represents domestic and international clients on a variety of business transactions and general corporate issues.
