Henry offered a two-hour presentation covering a case law update on land use issues and ethical standards for planning and zoning boards. Topics included land use approvals, SEQRA, short-term rentals, eminent domain, municipal power under the Marihuana Regulation and Taxation Act, and the public utility use variance standard for renewable energy projects.  In addition, he discussed conflicts of interest under General Municipal Law Article 18, avoiding these conflicts, and proper disclosure of conflicts. There were over 70 officials in attendance for this training, which provided two hours of land use training credit and continuing legal education credit for those who qualified.
