The 2021 AGC NYS/Posillico Civil Summer Meeting

The impacts of the legalization of marijuana will no doubt adversely impact construction industry employers, employees, and project owners. Kinsey O'Brien joins a panel consisting of an AGC contractor member and human resources specialist to discuss the legal ramifications employers are subject to under the legislation, job site impact, safety concerns and testing, general liability and other insurance issues and construction contract issues.

The presentation, titled "Impacts of Legalized Marijuana in Construction," will be given at the Association of General Contractors New York State Summer Meeting scheduled for August 5-7 at The Sagamore in Bolton Landing.
