Cyberattacks on financial institutions and their customers are on the rise.  A successful cyberattack is costly – both in terms of financial losses and operational and reputational risks.  Michelle Merola and Melissa Subjeck presented "Key Threats and Cyber Risks Facing Financial Institutions" to M&T Bank's legal and business divisions on Thursday, September 21. The presentation covered the current cyber threat landscape, potential liability resulting from cyberattacks, and ways to mitigate against them. It was part of M&T's "Legal Division-Knowledge at Noon."
