Domicile and Residency Issues in the Covid-19 Era

Taxpayers have been fleeing New York and Connecticut since March 2020, some on a permanent basis, some not as clear. These moves are creating significant state tax residency issues and raise a whole host of difficult state tax issues. In this session, Tim will talk through the various types of factual situations he has seen in his practice over the course of the pandemic and discuss the advice he and his colleagues have given to taxpayers making all these moves.
