Coffee Connectors

Speaking Engagement

Partner Jeffrey Stravino recently teamed up with Hodgson Russ client NorthBridge to participate in Coffee Connectors, a community outreach designed to bridge the opportunity gap for underprivileged students. NorthBridge founded the non-profit Coffee Connectors (managed in partnership with Inversant) to create opportunities for first generation college students/graduates who grew up in underprivileged neighborhoods.

Coffee Connectors sets up a coffee meeting to connect an ambitious, young, first-generation-to-college professional with a leader in the business community, who in turn connects the student with two individuals from their network, further expanding the potential for meaningful business connections.

Stravino met with a number of students from La Vida Scholars, a nonprofit college prep program in Lynn, MA, whose mission is to equip low-income, high-achieving students with the resources needed to enter great colleges.
