Do you have employees or do business in California? If yes, you will want to pay attention to this program. There are new privacy and data security laws in California -- and they could affect your company. Even if you do not have employees or do business in California, similar laws could be coming to other states, including New York.

The California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), which took effect January 1, 2023, amends and supplements existing California Laws (including the California Privacy Protection Act). The CPRA applies to personal information of a California resident that companies collect on or after January 1, 2022. If your company does business with any individual or entity in California, the CPRA may apply to you.

Join the Hodgson Russ LLP Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice on February 8, 2023. You will learn about the CPRA and what to expect in New York and other states.

CLE credit available.

* PLEASE NOTE: The in-person session of this event has been canceled. The webinar will proceed as scheduled.
