Counsel to an Industrial Manufacturer in the New York State Brownfields Program Addressing Groundwater and Soil Vapor Intrusion Issues

Ongoing representation of a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company that operates as an international industrial manufacturer in the New York State Brownfields Cleanup program, including investigatory and remedial cleanup activities for both on-site and off-site groundwater and soil vapor intrusion matters.  Our representation includes, but is not limited to interactions with state regulatory authorities; assessing environmental compliance obligations pursuant to ongoing and proposed remedial and site operations; advising on state tax credit opportunities and considerations; responses to regulatory inquiries; permitting; negotiating with off-site property owners and counsel; and, day-to-day counselling for the active operational facility.
