Summary Judgment Granted on Behalf of Construction Company

Hodgson Russ defended a paving company in response to a lawsuit brought by a property owner who resided on land adjacent to a repaved road. The plaintiff’s complaint alleged that the paving company expanded the footprint of the road onto the plaintiff’s property and that the paving work caused plaintiff’s property to flood. Following the close of discovery, our attorneys prevailed on a motion for summary judgment whereby the New York State Supreme Court, Sullivan County, dismissed all claims against the company.
