Represented Client in Litigation Concerning Equity Interests

Represented company and individuals in litigation concerning equity interests in a hemp cultivation and processing venture in New York, which also involved separate parallel litigation among the same parties concerning a venture in Oregon.  The plaintiffs claimed that they were entitled to a 50% stake in the venture, despite the absence of any written agreement.  After discovery, the matter was resolved with the client receiving full ownership of the venture on terms favorable to the client.

We also represented the client in connection with the potential sale of the underlying real estate and hemp license.  The sale was ultimately not consummated.
