Litigation Concerning Equity Interests

Hodgson Russ represented several parties in litigation concerning equity interests in a hemp cultivation and processing venture in New York. Our representation included separate parallel litigation matters among the same parties concerning a venture in Oregon.  The plaintiffs claimed that they were entitled to a 50% stake in the venture, despite the absence of any written agreement.  After discovery, the matter was resolved with the clients receiving full ownership of the venture on terms favorable to the clients.
