Application for Cannabis Microbusiness License

Members of our Cannabis & Hemp Group advised on the formation of a cannabis company, its negotiations with investors for equity-based investments, its application for MBE certification, leasing and real estate matters, and other preparations to apply for the first round of cannabis microbusiness licenses in New York State. Our real estate advice included representation in connection with the buildout of a 16,000+ square foot facility in the City of Buffalo, including negotiations to extend the lease to await finalization of regulatory regime and applications for licensing.  We are also advising on permitting for the storage and use of solvents associated with the facility’s operations.
