Employment Litigation Alleging Negligent Retention

Hodgson Russ successfully represented a publicly traded company in a lengthy jury trial in New York state court. The plaintiffs sued our client under a number of tort theories arising from a love triangle involving current and former employees of our client, all but a negligent retention claim remained for trial were dismissed on summary judgment and on appeal. At trial the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of our client.
