Professional Experience: Mr. Cournot is a French-born and U.S.-trained business lawyer. He advises foreign (mostly French) corporations and high-net-worth individuals at every stage of their presence in the United States. His services include agency and distribution agreements, licenses of intellectual property, formation and governance of legal entities, mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters, and alternative dispute resolution. He is general counsel (avocat conseil) to the French Consulate General in New York. He is consulted regularly by several French ministries and administrative agencies regarding legal problems in the United States.
